The zirconium oxide content in ordinary zirconia ceramics is much lower than that in precision zirconia ceramics, generally between 85% and 95%. Although the zirconium oxide content is lower, it still possesses certain insulating properties and can resist a certain degree of acid and alkali corrosion. Its high-temperature resistance is also acceptable, but its practical applications are somewhat limited, depending on the specific performance requirements of the production and processing environment.

It can be semi-automated or fully automated, but hydraulic methods are more mature, produce better quality, are easier to control, and offer a more advanced manufacturing process. Slip casting uses plaster molds to inject zirconium oxide slurry. A binder is added during the process, and after thorough grinding and degassing, the slurry is poured into a plaster mold to obtain the finished product.
