Alumina Ceramic Hollow Tube

Design Features

Alumina ceramic hollow tube, also known as insulated precision ceramic sleeve or ceramic bushing, is a high-performance industrial ceramic material with several notable physical and chemical properties. This ceramic tube is designed compactly and primarily used for smaller structures and applications, not suitable for large ceramic tube working environments.

High Purity Alumina Material

The main material used is 96% high purity alumina, ensuring excellent mechanical performance and wear resistance.

Zero Water Absorption and Porosity

Alumina ceramic hollow tubes have a water absorption rate of 0% and porosity of 0, indicating outstanding performance in humid or airtight environments.

Excellent Electrical Insulation

They have high dielectric strength (12 KV/mm), making them ideal for use as electrical insulation sheaths.

High Temperature Resistance

Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1600°C, suitable for high-temperature environments.

Good Mechanical Strength and Toughness

Flexural strength reaches 300 MPa, compressive strength is up to 2000 MPa, and they possess moderate fracture toughness (3.5 MPa·m^1/2).

Thermal Stability and Thermal Shock Resistance

Low thermal expansion coefficient (6.5-7.5 x 10^-6/℃), high thermal conductivity (25 W/(m·K)), able to withstand thermal shocks up to 200°C.

Application Areas

Electronics and Electrical Industry

Used as cable bushings and electrical insulators to protect wires from mechanical damage and prevent electrical faults.

Mechanical and Structural Applications

Employed in mechanical devices such as bearing sleeves and guide components, providing sliding and structural support.

Heat Treatment and Furnace Applications

Utilized as protective sleeves in heat treatment equipment to shield sensitive components from direct exposure to extreme environments.

Research and Laboratory Applications

In chemical and physical experiments, used as corrosion-resistant and high-temperature containers or conduits.

Aerospace and Automotive Industry

Applied for sensor protection, especially in environments requiring high temperature resistance and electrical insulation.
